PC3I Presents 20 First- and Senior-Authored Abstracts at 2023 ASCO Annual Meeting

May 31, 2023

The 2023 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting brings together oncologists from around the world to share the latest cutting-edge research under the theme Partnering With Patients: The Cornerstone of Cancer Care and Research.

Taking place June 2-6, the Annual Meeting will feature 20 first- and senior-authored abstracts from Innovation Faculty, Fellows, and staff at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I).

The work of PC3I researchers is anchored to patient engagement, equitable and engaged cancer care, and meaningful relationships between patients and clinicians. This year, these strategies include:

  • Leveraging digital technologies to reduce time-receiving care
  • Utilizing guaranteed income to reduce financial toxicity
  • Testing equitable ways to bridge gaps in clinician-patient communications.

Throughout, PC3I Faculty and Fellows highlight thoughtful and patient-centered implementations to innovate cancer care delivery.
