Dr. Mamtani is an Innovation Faculty member at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation and a medical oncologist and cancer epidemiologist. His clinical practice focuses on bladder cancer. His research team uses ‘big data’ from large electronic medical record and administrative databases to better inform patients of the usage, risks, and benefits of novel cancer therapies. Additionally, he serves on the American Society of Clinical Oncology Scientific Program Committee for Bladder and Kidney Cancer, the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network Scientific Advisory Board, and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee for Bladder Cancer.
