Sara Ginzberg, MD, MSHP

Resident, General Surgery, University of Pennsylvania Health System

Sara Ginzberg, MD, MSHP is an Innovation Fellow at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I) and a Resident in General Surgery at Penn. She is interested in optimizing the delivery of cancer care, with a particular emphasis on quality improvement as well as increasingaccess to screening and treatment for patients from historically marginalized groups. She serves on the Graduate Medical Education Subcommittee for Quality and Safety and was a founding member of the Breast Biopsy Quality Improvement Workgroup, supported by the Penn Medicine Nudge Unit.

She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where she majored in Ecology & Evolution. She subsequently received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies.
