PC3I Presents 32 Abstracts at the 2025 ASCO Annual Meeting

May 30, 2025

This week, oncologists from around the world are gathering to share the latest updates in cutting-edge cancer research at the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. This year’s conference theme is Driving Knowledge to Action: Building a Better Future and features 15 first- and senior-authored abstracts, 17 co-authored abstracts, 1 Clinical Science Symposium, and 1 Education Session from Innovation Faculty, Fellows, and staff at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I).

PC3I’s work is rooted in delivering equitable and patient-centered care, addressing socioeconomic barriers in oncology, and applying digital interventions to improve patient care and engagement. This year’s innovations include:

  • Determining effective strategies to implement the practical geriatric assessment in community practices;
  • Educating patients on gynecologic oncology clinical trials through a patient ambassador; and
  • Analyzing the relationship between financial toxicity and treatment outcomes during pediatric CAR T therapy.
