Surbhi Grover, MD, MPH is an Associate Director and Innovation Faculty member at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I), an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Botswana. She received her medical education at Harvard Medical School in 2009 before obtaining a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins in 2013. She then went on to complete her internship in internal medicine and residency in the Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Grover is interested in addressing the growing global cancer burden by focusing on public health endeavors and cost-effective clinical initiatives to improve access to care and outcomes of care in developing countries. Her research interests include racial and ethnic disparities in cancer care and outcomes, HIV-related malignancies, implementation and up-scaling of prevention and treatment programs in low resource settings. Since 2011 she has been working with the Botswana-UPENN partnership in developing an oncology program in Botswana. Her research is focused on improving outcomes and quality of life of patients with cervical cancer through HPV based interventions, reducing delays in care and survivorship interventions.
