Teja Voruganti

Teja Voruganti MD, PhD, is an Innovation Fellow at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation and Hematology/Oncology Fellow at the Abramson Cancer Center. He is interested in studying cancer treatment outcomes, patterns of care, and continuity of care to inform decisions affecting both his own patients and those globally. He has a wide breadth of experience with study design and research methodology garnered from his PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Methods including in pragmatic trial design, use of administrative level health data, systematic reviews, and decision analysis with the ultimate goal of wielding rigorous research methodology to generate evidence-based decisions.

Teja completed medical school at Yale University. He came to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for his Internal Medicine residency, and has stayed for Hematology/Oncology Fellowship.
