Collaborate with Us

PC3I is a community of change agents embedded within the world-class clinical and research environment of Penn Medicine.
Within Penn Medicine
The Penn Cancer Innovation Accelerator program is a collaboration between the PC3I and the Penn Medicine and the Abramson Cancer Center. Clinical and operational teams work side-by-side with PC3I staff to use innovation methodologies and project management tools to tackle real-world challenges in cancer care. We encourage you to view our past projects and apply for consideration.

External Partnerships
To expand our impact, we work with local, regional, and national partners to help scale our solutions into real-world settings. Examples below:
- Funding from a health insurance provider helped determine that e-consults reduce wait times for patients with blood disorders by 91%
- A partnership with a pharmaceutical company to explore early screening for social and behavioral determinants of health to address disparities for patients with breast cancer
- A national nonprofit funded the first-ever intervention on financial toxicity in gynecologic oncology
- Working with a national insurance provider, we launched the first global, prospective episode payment for radiation oncology services
- We partnered with a large community-based oncology practice to test an EHR-integrated behavioral intervention to improve early outpatient palliative care referrals
- In partnership with a Federally Qualified Health Center, we tested the efficacy of take-at-home tests for colorectal cancer screening when paired with text alerts
