PC3I Presents 14 Abstracts at the 2025 ASCO Quality Care Symposium
October 9, 2025The 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Quality Care Symposium will gather clinicians, researchers, and care teams from across the globe to share new insights into improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of cancer care. Held October 10–11, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois, this year’s meeting will showcase 14 abstracts led by Faculty, Fellows, and Staff from the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I).
Throughout their work, PC3I investigators aim to reimagine how cancer care is delivered: developing, testing, and scaling solutions that make care more accessible, equitable, and effective for every patient. Highlights from this year’s research include:
- Embedding social determinants of health screening into oncology workflows to strengthen patient outcomes;
- Implementing a home-based model for timely symptom management that reduces unnecessary emergency department visits; and
- Examining how insurance coverage and financial strain influence diagnostic outcomes for women screened at mobile versus hospital-based mammography sites.
