Sheldon Amoo-Mitchual
Fellows MD Student, Perelman School of MedicineSheldon Amoo-Mitchual is an Innovation Fellow at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I) and an MD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. He is interested in interventions addressing global health disparities, quality improvement, and global health infrastructure and policy. He has been conducting research with Dr. Surbhi Grover, at Princess Marina Hospital in Botswana as the inaugural participant of the University of Pennsylvania’s Center For Global Health Year Out Program.
His research is focused on characterizing treatment and survivorship care for patients, while investigating potential interventions to improve quality of care. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania studying Biological Basis of Behavior. He is currently pursuing his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where he has been inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
