Ravi Parikh Selected as 2023-2025 Gilbert S. Omenn Fellow at the National Academy of Medicine

PC3I Associate Director Ravi Parikh, M.D., M.P.P., FACP, has been selected as the 2023-2025 Gilbert S. Omenn Fellow at the National Academy of Medicine (NAM).

Part of the NAM Fellowships for Health Science Scholars program, this fellowship enables early career physician scientists to take an active role in the health- and medicine-related study processes of the NAM in order to help integrate public health and medicine in research, practice, and policy. The Gilbert S. Omenn Fellowship also aims to develop a cadre of physician scientists to grow the nation’s capacity for research, leadership and policy development that advances health.

Dr. Parikh is an Associate Director at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I) and the Director of PC3I’s Program in Augmented and Artificial Intelligence. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Health Policy and a medical oncologist at the University of Pennsylvania and Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center. In addition, he serves as Director of the Human-Algorithm Collaboration Lab, a multi-disciplinary laboratory focusing on developing and testing algorithm-driven interventions in cancer care.
