Sarah Winawer-Wetzel, MBA, FACHE

Director of Operations, Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation

Sarah Winawer-Wetzel, MBA, FACHE is the Director of Operations for the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I), where she works in close partnership with PC3I leadership to drive forward PC3I’s strategic vision and mission. In addition, she is responsible for development and management of PC3I’s team, stakeholder and partner engagement, and fiscal and operational oversight of PC3I.

 

Ms. Winawer-Wetzel brings over a decade of experience working in healthcare to this position, including internal consulting, project management, and program development. She is particularly passionate about the provision of patient-centered care, collaborative and inclusive workplace environments, and social justice in the context of healthcare.

 

Ms. Winawer-Wetzel completed her undergraduate degree in comparative literature and German studies at Smith College and earned her MBA in non-profit management at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Prior to her role at PC3I, Ms. Winawer-Wetzel served as the Director of Administration for the Penn Medicine Palliative Care Program and as Senior Manager of Clinical Planning and Project Management at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
