Patrick Higgins is the Senior Director of Service Line and Network Integration in the Cancer Service Line at Penn Medicine. Pat works closely with the Cancer Service Line disease teams on their development, planning, and execution of identified opportunities. In addition, he works to lead other strategic initiatives and program development within the Service Line. Pat has worked at Penn Medicine for ten years in various capacities having started his career out of college as a Patient Service Representative. Most recently, he worked as a Director of Business Development for the health system where he worked on new practice acquisition and integration as well as system level program planning and implementation. One of the things Pat loves most about working at Penn is the ability to work alongside compassionate care teams in various settings, and to help develop sustainable models for new ideas that translate into benefits for patients.

Pat was born in Philadelphia, and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College in Business and Economics, and earned his Master’s in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph’s University. In his free time, Pat loves spending time with his wife, Jenna, and daughter, Avery, as well as getting to Phillies games in the summer.
