Mark Morgan is the Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology for the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Pennsylvania Hospital. He received his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center (SUNY) and completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology followed by a two-year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was the founding Chief of the Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Penn and was Chief of the Section of Gynecologic Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Professor of Surgery from 2006-2013. He has been active in clinical trials with the GOG/NRG and is a member of the ovarian and developmental therapeutic committees. He also has been involved in humanitarian missions to Africa to treat obstetric fistula and serves as a consultant to the World Health Organization.
