Fabian Marechal serves as the Division Administrator for the Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine since 2018.

A native of France, Fabian has lived in Philadelphia for the past 19 years and has been with Penn Medicine since 2011. Before his current position, he was the senior director of operations for the musculoskeletal and rheumatology service line and strived to implement innovative solutions to solve issues related to access to care and overall patient experience using his prior work experience in the hospitality industry.

Fabian received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in political science and economics from the Universite de Paris-IV and completed a certificate in healthcare management from Harvard Business School.
