David Miller, MBA

Chief Administrative Officer, Cancer Service Line, Abramson Cancer Center

David Miller serves as the Cancer Service Line Chief Administrative Officer for the University of Pennsylvania Health System.  As the Chief Administrative Officer, Dave partners with health system and clinical leadership to oversee and direct the strategic programming for cancer services across six hospitals and their aligned ambulatory facilities.  In addition, Dave leads the Penn Cancer Network, which manages a portfolio of hospital engagements and partnerships in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

 

Dave joined Penn Medicine in 2018.  Prior to joining Penn Medicine, Dave spent fifteen years at Johns Hopkins Medicine where he primarily led the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences during the growth and expansion phase of its academic mission across the Baltimore-Washington Region.  Dave started his career in the Financial Management Program at General Electric and spent some time managing international services operations at Washington Hospital Center.

Dave earned his MBA at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, and he has a BS in Business and Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park.
