Patient Generated Health Data
About the Program
PC3I’s Program in Patient-Generated Health Data is led by Deputy Director Dr. Samuel Takvorian. In this context, he works to build and test technology-enabled, patient- and clinician-directed strategies to improve adoption of patient-generated health data in routine care. This work also includes efforts to integrate patient-generated health data into existing Penn databases, such as the Penn Biobank, and developing resources for cross-disciplinary learning across projects related to patient-generated health data. Dr. Takvorian is also working to develop a recommended strategy regarding the clinical integration and study of next-generation AI chatbots in cancer care.
