Camille J. McCallister

Camille J. McCallister, MD, MPP is an Innovation Fellow at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I), and a Gynecologic Oncology Fellow at Penn Medicine. Her current research interests include high-risk uterine cancers and the dialogue of genetics and environmental exposure in the African diaspora, as well as surgical innovation and care delivery in resource-limited settings.

Dr. McCallister received her BS in Biology from Howard University and then was selected to be a Fulbright Fellow in Aotearoa (New Zealand), studying Māori Health and the framework of Kaupapa Māori Theory. She then earned her Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles and her MD from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently researching high-risk uterine cancer and fibroids as a member of the Drapkin Lab.
