Innovation Manager, Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation

Sharon Tejada, MS, is an Innovation Manager for the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I) at the Abramson Cancer Center. Ms. Tejada manages innovation initiatives focused on transforming cancer care.

 

Ms. Tejada previously managed AI Data Operations and Customer Operations at a healthcare technology startup developing an artificially intelligent medical scribe, where she specialized in systems design, optimization, and scaling. There, she worked directly with the company’s co-founders, engineers, physician customers, and external stakeholders to create a product that would mitigate physician burnout and improve patient safety. Ms. Tejada’s prior experience spans higher education, emergency medicine, and disaster preparedness.

 

Ms. Tejada received her bachelor’s degree with a double major in Molecular and Cell Biology (Immunology) and Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and her master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.
