Director, Quality Improvement & Patient Safety, Cancer Service Line
Jennifer Braun is the Corporate Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety for the Cancer Service Line at Penn Medicine. Jenn works with physicians, nursing professionals, and ancillary caregivers across the health system to achieve quality goals for the cancer population across the continuum of care. She works within the service line and Penn hospitals to ensure that cancer patients at Penn are receiving consistent, high-quality, safe care through clinical pathway design, disease-specific initiatives, and utilization of technological innovations to improve care.
Jenn was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and has been with Penn Medicine since 2008. Before joining Penn, she worked at Independence Blue Cross for nine years in numerous capacities including quality management. Prior to that, Jenn was a critical care nurse.
Jenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Temple University and a Master in Health Administration from St. Joseph’s University.
