Erin Bange, MD

Former Fellow, Hematology and Oncology, Perelman School of Medicine

Erin Bange was a fellow in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Delaware, secured her medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, and completed her internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on aligning patient-provider expectations prior to cancer treatment, optimizing care delivery for patients with in-curable cancer diagnoses, ensuring safe opioid prescribing for cancer patients, and utilizing electronic medical records as a research tool.
