Chelsea Saia, MPH

Senior Data Analyst, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health

Chelsea Saia, MPH, is a Senior Data Analyst in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Pennsylvania. She leads the data extraction, management, and statistical analysis for several research studies focused on optimizing cancer screening and care delivery processes, particularly focusing on the assessment of health outcomes associated with lung cancer screening. Prior to joining Penn, Ms. Saia was an Epidemiologist at the Virginia Department of Health’s Cancer Registry responsible for providing analytic support for the registry and cancer screening program evaluation. She was also an Epidemiologist at the Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center performing data analysis and surveillance related to behavioral and operational health.

 

Ms. Saia received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech and her Master’s degree in Public Health concentrating in Epidemiology from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
