Former Managing Director, Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation
Callie Scott, MSc served as the Managing Director of the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation at the Abramson Cancer Center from 2019-2021. She oversaw center strategy and operations and worked with partners within and outside of Penn Medicine to create, test, and scale innovations to improve cancer care delivery. Callie has extensive experience providing technical, strategic, and operational leadership at the nexus of research and practice. She has designed and executed numerous projects in community-based and clinical settings in the U.S. and overseas. Prior to joining Penn, Callie developed and led a program at Providence to catalyze applied research in support of care transformation across one of the largest health systems in the U.S. Callie has a background in health economics and decision science with expertise in evaluations of program feasibility, impact, cost, and cost-effectiveness. She has held research positions at PATH, Boston University, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Callie received her bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Michigan and her master’s degree in health policy and management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
