PC3I Presents 50 Abstracts at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting
May 28, 2026This week, oncologists from around the world are gathering to share the latest updates in cutting-edge cancer research at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. This year’s conference theme is “The Science and Practice of Translation: Improving Cancer Outcomes Worldwide” and features 25 first- and senior-authored abstracts, 25 co-authored abstracts, and 4 special sessions from Innovation Faculty, Fellows, and staff at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I).
PC3I’s work is rooted in delivering equitable and patient-centered care, addressing socioeconomic barriers in cancer care, and implementing sustainable interventions to improve patient care and engagement. This year’s innovations include:
- Testing an alternative eHealth method of genetic testing for hereditary cancer;
- Assessing patient engagement with an oncology chatbot; and
- Understanding the unmet needs of survivors of ovarian cancer.
